Trinity Baptist was established in 1965 and is part of the Akron Area Association (AAA) within the American Baptist Churches of Ohio/USA.

The church is located near the center of North Canton, which was voted one of “America’s Top 100 Places to Live”. The city of North Canton, located in Stark County with a population of nearly 18,000, is an outstanding community that blends beautiful residential areas with a solid business community to create an ideal environment for living and working. The city also offers excellent city services, state-of-the-art safety services, and the School District is ranked “Excellent” by the Ohio Department of Education. Additionally, the community parks offer biking, hiking, swimming, team sports, and golfing opportunities.

Ministry at Trinity has always reached beyond its walls. The church has supported local and global missions—from food pantries and homeless shelters in Stark County to international projects. The congregation has faithfully supported American Baptist missionaries and offerings, while also serving its local community through events such as Vacation Bible School, an annual Chili Cook-Off, Easter Egg Hunts, Christmas programs, and participation in the North Canton Main Street Festival.

Short Description of Church/Position

The Next Gen Pastor position is a full-time salaried position.  The Next Gen Pastor will be responsible for collaborating with the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, and other staff (as directed) to determine the direction of Next Gen Ministries.  The Next Gen Pastor will oversee the development and implementation of ministries, programs, and milestones for ages Birth-12th Grade, as well as assisting the Lead and Executive Pastors with College-Aged Young Adult Ministry (18-25).  In the first year of employment, the majority of time will be spent on Birth-12th Grade ministries.

Short Description of Church/Position

Perry Chapel Baptist Church has been committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the rural communities of East Central Ohio since its founding in 1860 by 25 dedicated members. Over the years, God has blessed Perry Chapel with growth and opportunities to serve. In 1899 a new building was completed with the help of men from the congregation on land that was donated to the church. An addition to this building was completed in 1958 for additional classrooms.  Several remodels and additions occurred in the 1980s and 1990s.  God greatly blessed Perry Chapel in the ‘90s with a rapidly increasing congregation so a new building was in order.  In May 2003, the first service was held in the new building which houses the sanctuary, offices and additional classrooms, nurseries, fireside room and kitchen.  The upper floor is additional space for youth programs. At Perry Chapel, we strive to be a place where people of all ages can grow in Christ, serve others, and experience authentic community. Conneaut First Baptist Church was established in 1831. Our current building was dedicated on March 7, 1901. Conneaut is a small city of approximately 12,400 people, which lies on the south shore of Lake Erie in the northeast corner of Ohio. As a member of the Northeast Association, we share in the ownership and operation of Camp Koinonia and Conference Center located south of Geneva, Ohio on Cork Cold Springs Road.

Our church expects to share leadership with the pastor. Currently, our church is active in missions and involved in community activities. We are seeking an individual to shape our men's ministry, help us expand our youth group, increase visitation to our shut-ins, and provide ways to build our congregation. We believe that with leadership from a strong, Bible-based pastor, and with our members support, we are positioned for growth.

FBC St. Paris seeks a passionate and committed individual for the role of Paid Ministry Intern to work with teens and young adults. This is a hands-on experience to grow and shape the next generation of leaders, while gaining valuable experience in a small church setting. The intern will work closely with the pastor, appropriate church boards, and church members to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of youth in our congregation and community.

• Work with the youth leadership team to plan, organize, and execute events, programs, and retreats for teens and young adults.
• Assist with leading worship services, Bible studies, small groups, and other ministry opportunities.

Qualifications:
