ENDOWMENT FUND FOR NEW LOCAL CHURCH OUTREACH AND EVANGELISM MINISTRIES
“When Jesus had called the Twelve together, He gave them power and authority to drive out demons and to cure diseases, and He sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to hear the sick … So they set out and went from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing people everywhere.” Luke 9:1,2,6
The Building on Common Ground Campaign (1995-1997) created an Endowment Fund to provide grants and resources to ABC/Ohio churches to support new outreach and evangelism ministries in their local communities. Local churches are best positioned to design and build programs and projects that address the situations in their communities. The intention of this Endowment Fund is to offer some assistance and encouragement for implementing ministries which will serve unchurched people and meet human needs in the name of Christ, bring many to faith in Him and spark renewal in our churches.
Income from this Endowment Fund will be made available each year in individual grants starting at $500.00. Priority will be given to start-up models or to support one-time short-term projects. Application deadlines for grants are April 1 and August 15 each year. The application may be downloaded HERE.
