Ralph Charles “Chuck” Samson of Urbana, Ohio went to be with Lord October 7, 2024. Chuck has been the pastor at Kings Creek Baptist Church for the past 15 years. He was born July 4, 1956. This was unexpected and very sad for the people in his life.
Chuck graduated from Park Hills High School, Fairborn, Ohio, in ’74. He then graduated with a BS degree from Mississippi College in 1982. Chuck started his journey with Christ with a ministry of youth in the late ‘70’s. Chuck traveled many states for four years with a Christian music group called “Harvest,” as a singer, musician, bus driver and minister. He also worked for LYNX (Fellowship of Christians in Action). LYNX was a non-denominational mobile retreat ministry. Chuck retired from FedEx as a truck driver in 2019.
Chuck’s passion and biggest desire in life was to share all that he knew about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He was a wonderful, funny, giving human being and this world will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Samson, and his mother, Jimmie Ruth (Hall) Samson.
He is survived by the love of his life, Jannie (Sizemore) Samson; stepson, Randy (Liz) Reser; granddaughter, Emma (Colton) Rader; grandsons, Coben and Greyden Reser; great-grandchildren Millie and Haddix Rader; siblings, Tom (Becky) Samson, Robin (Steve) Bodenham, Melissa (Missy) Wulliger, and Bruce (Cathy) Samson; sister-in-law Wilma McClure; brothers-in-law Tom (Connie) Sizemore and Gary (Sylvia) Sizemore.
Please keep the Samson family in your prayers.
