Linda Brutto Passes Away

Linda Brutto passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010, in Alliance, OH.  Linda served for 25 years on the staff of Neighborhood Ministries in Youngstown.  She had been a member of the ABC/Ohio Board of Regional Ministries in past years and faithfully served in the Trumbull Baptist Association and in her own church, First Baptist Church of Alliance.

Linda K. Brutto, age 64, of Alliance, died at 5:13 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Alliance Community Hospital.

She was born October 15, 1945, in Alliance, Ohio, to Phillip and Ruth (English) Keirn.

Linda was a 1963 graduate of Alliance High School and attended the Richmond Professional Institute. She was a missionary for the Neighborhood Ministries in Youngstown for 25 years until retiring.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the Board of Deacons. Linda was active with the church nursery and was member of the Board of Membership and president of the Trumbull Baptist Association. She enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Edward G. Brutto of Alliance, whom she married Sept. 3, 1966; daughter, Danielle L. Brutto; son, Timothy E. (Deana) Brutto; and two grandchildren, Rachel and Monica Brutto, all of Uniontown; two brothers, Ronald (Sue) Keirn and David (Alexes) Keirn, both of Alliance; brother-in-law, Paul David Wearstler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Judy Wearstler; and niece, Ann Wearstler.
