Short Description of Church/Position:
The First Baptist Church of Attica, Ohio, is a small congregation that seeks a leader who will help us grow. Currently, we are looking for someone as a part-time pastor.
1. Spiritual Leadership and Guidance
• Leading Worship and Sacraments: Plan and lead worship services, ensuring that these gatherings are meaningful, reverent, and inclusive. This includes preaching, prayer, the administration of sacraments such as communion and baptism
2. Pastoral Care and Counseling
• Visitation: Regular visits to the sick, elderly, homebound, or those in hospital.
• Counseling
• Celebrating Milestones: Officiating at weddings, funerals, baptisms.
3. Community Engagement and Outreach
• Community Partnerships: Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and interfaith groups to foster goodwill, bridge divides, and amplify the church’s impact.
