The 199th Annual Gathering of the American Baptist Churches of Ohio was held at the beautiful Cherry Valley Hotel.
“God’s Faithfulness Fuels Our Confidence,” based on Philippians 1:6 served as the theme for our Gathering.

The “Gathering” took place over two days beginning at 10 am on Tuesday and concluding at 2 pm on Wednesday.
We welcomed Dr. Robin Stoops, ABCUSA Associate General Secretary & former ABC Nebraska Executive Minister as our keynote speaker and workshop leader; Christine Lafferty, IM Global Servant to Nicaragua (AMOS Health & Hope) as our mission speaker, and Dr. Ed Rogers, Renew Transformational Strategies & Dr. Mariah Hamby, American Baptist Historical Society as workshop leaders.

Benjamin Payne and his praise band returned as our worship leaders. Dr. Seth Fallon, Ohio Leadership Academy recognized recent graduates, followed by a reception.
Susan Stotts, ABC Ohio Region President moderated the Tuesday morning Annual Business Meeting and deliver her presidential address. Ministry reports and the election of officers will took place during this meeting.
The Gathering concluded on Wednesday with a recognition of God’s faithfulness and a view of the future with a new Strategic Vision for 2026 and beyond.
